Pesticide Training, Licensing, Education and Recommendations

Training and Licensing

• Recertification for Commercial/Non-Commercial Turf & Ornamental Applicators (Classes 4, 5, 6, 9A, 9B, and 10). A recertification class for these applicators will be held on May 2, 2013 at the state Extension office, 2301 S. University, Little Rock, AR 72204. The class will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until approximately 3:00 p.m. The cost is $25/person, payable by check or money order only and payment will be collected at the door on the day of the meeting. Contact Ms. Terilyn Maize with the Cooperative Extension Service to register (tmaize@uaex.edu or 501-671-2232).

• Study kits for the Commercial/Non-Commercial pesticide applicator categories are available at a cost of $15.00 each. Please mark which study kit(s) you want, complete the necessary information and send the form (MS Word) or (Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and a $15.00 check per kit. The study kits can also be ordered over the phone by using a credit card. Call Ms. Terilyn Maize at 501-671-2232 to place an order.
